Election Commission’s right to vote in two places for MP Asaduddin Owaisi became controversial. It can be said that errors are common in voter lists. If there are two or three votes for those with the right to vote, their name does not appear on the voter list. But they are not limited to ordinary voters. The EC got caught in the controversy by giving two votes to the celebrities too.
MP Asaduddin Owaisi, who was recently recognized as the head of MIM, has got votes in two places. In the final voter list released on Thursday, the EC gave the right to vote to the MP in two areas.
In Khairatabad Assembly Constituency one vote with EPIC No: KGY0601229, Part No:401, Serial No. 906, and in Rajendranagar Constituency another vote with EPIC No: TDZ1557521, Part No:25, Serial No. 412 was given by the Election Commission.
However, the Congress party complained to the Election Commission about giving the right to vote to Asaduddin in two seats. Aadhaar number has been added to voter ID in some areas. He said that if it is linked with Aadhaar, there will be no possibility of duplication. But if an MP-level person has the right to vote in two places, then what is the general public’s situation? Doubts are being expressed.
