Another incident has proved how much love the TRS government has for the farmers. KTR, who went to great lengths to challenge the media on the issues of farmers. Revanth Reddy came to Tolivelugu Studio saying that it is not right to invite the two for a live debate under the name ‘Raithu Challenge’. But KTR turned the ‘Ask KTR’ event into politics at the same time. Criticism is coming up saying that KTR thinks that going to the studio early in the morning will put him at risk in open. Meanwhile, KTR was live on Twitter to take questions, where he failed to answer people’s queries.
A chair was set in the early morning studio for KTR to discuss farmer issues. Skipping it, he sat down on Twitter. Netizens asked the questions. People asked him why he didn’t show up at Tolivelugu’s debate with Revanth Reddy. Even on Twitter, KTR seemed annoyed with their questions at one point. ‘Ask KTR’ went on with negative comments throughout. Netizens were outraged by his comments that ‘he did not want to debate with criminals’.
‘If a debate is set up to talk about the plight of the farmer in the state, Would you sit on Twitter without going?’ Netizens deposed.
Not only that, they questioned what is the point of keeping criminals in the TRS and talking like that. Shankar, the TRS leader who committed atrocities on six-year-olds in Sirisilla, Vanama Raghava, who killed the Ramakrishna family in Palvancha, and the BJP leaders, who have been accused of committing various corruption activities such as seizures and settlements.
Netizens are of the opinion that their questions at ‘Ask KTR’ have become a bit of a risk for KTR. Farmers and people are saying that it is not correct to challenge Revanth to be ready for discussion and not to go if Revanth makes every challenge.
