Amid the allegations over the suspicious Corona deaths in the state so far, Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday constituted a State-Level Death Audit Committee to examine all the case records to ascertain the cause of deaths pertaining to the victims of coronavirus.
In the line of the orders issued by Special Chief Secretary K S Jawahar Reddy, the nine-membered committee chaired by the Director of Medical Education would reportedly conduct verbal autopsy over the 31 coronavirus deaths so far and will submit its report to the state nodal authority for COVID-19 and Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare as soon as possible.
It is to the known knowledge that the medical professional has been receiving criticism over providing inefficient medication while the doctors claimed the patients already to have ailments like asthma, hypertension, diabetes and cardiac problems. Upon which the designated committee will also suggest effective management strategies to the government to reduce the mortality rate after a detailed analysis of death trends.
