Congress leader Bakka Judson has complained to ED and CBI to take action against MLC Kavitha who is making illegal investments in movies. He alleged that she recently invested in hero Vijay Deverakonda starrer ‘Liger’ and tried to convert black money into white. He said that the film was a disaster and suffered heavy losses. He said that Kavitha, who wanted to make a Pan India film, invited Vijay Devarakonda, the film’s producer Charmi, and others to his house and held discussions with them. He also referred to the drug case in Logada 2021 while recalling the flop of Ligar.
He said that around 16 celebrities were interrogated by the authorities in Hyderabad, including Charmi, director Puri Jagannath, actors Navdeep, Ravi Teja, and Mumait Khan. Bakka Judson said that since then Kavita, Charmi, Vijay Devarakonda, and Puri Jagannath have developed a bond. A petition has been handed over to the investigating agencies explaining Kavitha’s efforts to convert the illegally earned black money into white. A comprehensive investigation has been requested.
