BJP state president Bandi Sanjay alleged that the TRS government was diverting central funds. KCR has been criticized for spending time with lies and bankrupting the state with horizontal debts. He said that there is no salary situation for employees in Telangana. He was outraged that a huge scam was going on in the name of electricity and that KCR is pushing Telangana into debt by not paying Rs 60,000 crore to the DISCOMs. Bandi spoke to the media at the party-state office in Hyderabad.
He alleged that KCR was harassing the people by raising electricity charges and paying commissions. Bandi stated that people are spending Rs 6 per unit of electricity in Telangana which is supposed to be Rs 3. He said that Bhadradri was running the power plant with the benami people and was colluding with the conspirators to infiltrate the government treasury. He explained that the KCR government had taken loans on all the public sector undertakings in the state.
Bandi alleged that Chief Minister recklessly turned Telangana into a debt-ridden state. He said there was no situation to implement any single welfare scheme. He said that loans were brought in from public and private sector companies and there was no possibility of new ones coming. He alleged the TRS leaders of extorting crores of rupees from several youths by telling them about hiring them at the Ramagundam Fertilizer Factory. Critics say the factory closed en masse in the name of pollution, realizing that they were being turned away due to a lack of employment opportunities.
Sanjay was outraged that the fertilizer factory was shut down as soon as the BJP got its name. He also criticized the government for not charging up to Rs 1,000 crore a year in the old city and for setting up a separate substation in the KCR farm house and for using hundreds of acres of free electricity. Bandi alleged that the electricity used for 40 villages was being used by a single farm house.
He said that if the meters are installed, electricity irregularities will come to light in KCR’s farmhouse. He said TRS leaders were deliberately misleading farmers in this regard. Sanjay said the BJP government had helped the country get out of the current crisis and criticized the TRS for claiming that they are paying it on their own when in reality it is the center that takes care of the expenses.
