Amid the ongoing tension in the state, BJP state president Bandi Sanjay states that the police of Telangana were not registering cases despite TRS gangs attacking BJP workers in the state. He was outraged at the DGP for not even picking up the calls made by him for help. Accusing the SP of Sirisilla District of being a rubber stamp, he asked the DGP to answer whether cases were being registered against those TRS party workers who were attacking the BJP members.
Until now, over twenty-three BJP activists who went to jail after being arrested in the Ellareddypeta police station incident have been released. The court on Wednesday granted bail to those who have been in remand for the past ten days. The BJP ranks at the district jail gave them a solid welcome in the wake of this. Later, Bandi Sanjay was felicitated at the Karimnagar Parliament House. He assured the party activists of safety and urged them to be brave and fight for the cause.
“BJP activists have been illegally charged by the state government and police in Sirisilla district. They think that they can scare the BJP activists by sending them to jail. I am repeating this again- Any BJP activist who goes to jail with me will go with pride. Because we are fighting for the people. But KCR will also go to jail soon, and people will beat him on the streets. The SP of Sirisilla is nothing but a rubber stamp or a puppet of the ruling party. He simply does whatever CMO tells him to do. Some members of the police force have spoken out against their higher officers, while some are just behaving like the personal guards of the ruling party members. The law does not even register cases against TRS leaders who beat up BJP activists. What would the leaders of some of the police unions who have been talking repeatedly say in this regard? Why not talk about such anarchy? If you keep acting like this, even dogs will not care about you when you retire. Remember that in the end, your children will question you. Do not work under the influence of the ruling party anymore. Act according to law and justice. The DGP should respond to this immediately. Otherwise, he must openly admit that he is worth nothing,” said Sanjay.
Bandi further said that the DGP never receives his calls, adding that the police officer might be scared of his phone being tapped. He also demanded immediate dismissal of illegal cases filed against BJP activists in the Ellareddypeta incident, saying that it reminded him of his own arrest in Bodhan on similar charges and being jailed in Bhainsa. “Police are arresting BJP leaders who are going to consult activists. Owaisi was allowed to return to Bodhan peacefully. Chief Minister KCR has become a puppet to the MIM party. They are shamelessly misrepresenting BJP and aiming to discredit it.
“The Chief Minister has written an agreement to stop giving boiled rice. But now he himself is making resolutions from the villages to take boiled rice. While the center wants to buy the boiled rice, KCR is deliberately not letting the farmers of the state sell it. KCR has overthrown the grain purchasing centers and left the farmers in confusion. Why Telangana state alone is facing such grain procurement problems unlike the rest of India? The CM is deliberately creating the problem wanting to push it on the center and the BJP party. Long after the center decided to help the stranded Ukrainian students, KCR has now written a letter to the Prime Minister and is fighting for credit. Have students who were disturbed during the war been phoned and consulted at least once? They are worried about the increased electricity charges here, the RTC charges, the power cuts rather than the war. It is certain that the people will turn against the TRS government until the increased current bills are handed over,” concluded Bandi Sanjay.
