BJP state president Bandi Sanjay said that voting for Congress means voting for the TRS party itself. The concluding meeting of the Prajasangrama Yatra was held at Thukkuguda. On this occasion, Bandi fired at the KCR government. He urged the people to end family rule in Telangana and give the BJP one chance. He stated that TRS, MIM, and Congress are playing together, adding that Amit Shah had come to Telangana to end the family rule of KCR.
Bandi went on to say that KCR is someone who bends the knee to the Nizam history and tomb, and such people do not qualify to be in power in the Telangana state. He bashed KCR for the hikes in VAT on petrol and diesel, saying that it would be reduced if the BJP comes to power. He criticized the Kalvakuntla family rule for carrying out public campaigns talking about saving people, giving guarantees in the name of projects, and causing great hardship to the peasantry. Bandi opined that the reign of KCR is reminding him of the times of Tuglaq in Indian history when it was about making bad decisions causing serious problems for the people of the state.
Bandi said the state was being looted by the KCR family and due to such a rule, the state would soon become another Sri Lanka. He bashed the Kalvakuntla family saying that they are not sparing any natural resources at all, exploiting everything to every extent. “The situation of Telangana is scary. Considering the current state of affairs, the elections must come soon. The number of people in the state who cannot stand upright has increased under the KCR regime. We will build our own houses for all of them under the ‘PM Awas Yojana’ scheme as soon as the BJP comes to power,” assured Bandi.
“We will also make free education and medicine available to the people of the state. The saffron flag should be hoisted over Golconda fort. People want a change of power. TRS leaders are grabbing people’s lands in the name of Dharani. The people of Palampur are still in desert conditions. The BJP is responsible for completing the RDS,” Bandi said. He also alleged KCR of liking just the upliftment projects talking about distributing water. Did he provide water to lakh acres in every constituency? he asked. “KCR keeps mincing words about which crop the farmers should cultivate. He has been corrupting the state with his reckless decisions,” concluded Bandi.
