Opposition party members generally wait for the moment when they can catch the BRS leaders committing a mistake. Recently, Minister KTR was caught in one such matter. With this, the opposition took it out on him and launched an onslaught of criticism. In particular, BJP state president Bandi Sanjay made harsh comments on KTR, criticizing him by calling Twitter Tillu.
What did KTR say?
KTR met with NRIs as part of his visit to Davos. Talking about investments, he said that they are allocating the loans taken for development. On this occasion, Yadadri was especially talked about. If a temple like Yadadri is reconstructed and a thousand crores are spent on it, is it not an investment in the future? He commented. At present Yadadri is getting an income of one crore rupees per day.
Bandi counter attack
Bandi Sanjay fired over KTR’s comments describing the construction of the temple as an investment. “Temples have become business centers for the Kalvakuntla family. Why are CMs of other states being taken to Yadadri? KCR is trying to show Yadadri as an investment opportunity,” KCR said on Twitter. Sanjay said that the expenditure on Yadadri was KTR’s investment and that Hundi is getting Rs 1 crore of donations per day. He criticized that the government has turned temples into business centers. The hashtag has also been added to Twitter.
On the other hand, other BJP leaders are also angry over KTR’s comments. They argue, “it is not correct to say that the temple is developed without devotion to God, but with the hopes of getting returns through the hundi on the investment.”
