KCR was incensed at the center during the TRS Plenary. BJP state president Bandi Sanjay responded in this regard posing questions like- Did the plenary session take place to insult the Center and the BJP? TRS has been accused of trying to divert public attention from the incompetent regime. Bandi was outraged at KCR as he tried to storm with the myth of insults against the opposition without discussing party organizational issues and guarantees that have to be fulfilled by the government.
“Generally, it is natural for any political party, a regional party, or national party to hold anniversaries and plenary sessions. He reminded that no one would object to this and the party would discuss organizational matters in the plenum, discussing what policies have been implemented for the welfare of people, what has been achieved so far, how many promises have been fulfilled, how many other promises have to be fulfilled and what more can be done for the people. But TRS is kind of doing it in a reverse manner. Instead of focusing on their governance, they are simply bashing the opposition party in a very disgusting manner,” said Bandi Sanjay. adding that ‘TRS is being too loud because of their failed governance’.
To KCR’s comments on Telangana being one of the richest states in India, Sanjay asked, “If it is so, why is the government unable to pay salaries to the government employees? KCR, who declared the party assets, didn’t reveal his personal and family assets, why is it so? Why is there so much confusion in the new job notifications and replacement?” Bandi also alleged that women in the state are suffering severely because of the KCR government.
“Like he accomplished something great as the Chief Minister of Telangana, now also wants to do good for the country. KCR keeps saying that Telangana is a rich state. Why did he make the state indebted to the tune of Rs 4 lakh crore, making it Rs 1 lakh per head? Why was it that even the salaries of the employees could not be paid? Even providing pension benefits has become difficult in the state, which truly reveals the state of the economy. The hikes in electricity tariffs, and the current bills from next month, are causing shock, also there are arrears of around Rs 70,000 crore on discoms.
Bandi said that it was because of PM Modi’s schemes it was possible to double the farmers’ earnings by raising the crop prices sharply. He reminded that prices of crops like chilies and cotton have almost doubled from Rs 1,360 in 2014 to Rs 1,960 today. “KCR earlier promised that he would give urea for free. But again that there is no discussion about it. On the other hand, the Narendra Modi government has increased the subsidy on fertilizers to farmers by spending thousands of crores. Recently, the cabinet has also decided to give a subsidy of Rs 60,939 crore on fertilizers for the coming Kharif season (one season). It sounds like both the son and father are angry at the Prime Minister when he urged the state governments to reduce the VAT on diesel and petrol. That is why it looks like the sole agenda of the Plenary was sounding like to insult the Prime Minister and criticize the center. In BJP-ruled states in India, the petrol price has been reduced by Rs 10 to Rs 15. While on the other hand, KCR is blaming the center based on the prices of fuels, when he and his party members are looting Rs 30 per liter of fuel,” said Bandi.
“Leaders of other countries are praising Modi’s policy. Telangana is now all set to give VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme) to the TRS party. They can go ahead and form Bharat Rastra Samithi, or Prapancha Rastra Samithi (International), for that matter. Nobody is going to care anymore. KCR has done nothing for the state so far, and he wants to do something for the country. He praised Sr. NTR so many times, but isn’t he one of those people who threw chappals at NTR? He must answer this. KCR keeps calling BJP a religion-based party, then why did he cooperate with NTR just based on the caste? Isn’t that hypocrisy?” Bandi reacted strongly to KCR’s criticism that the BJP is a religious party.
Bandi further stated that the MIM party is like cancer in India, and it is KCR who has been backing them for ages. Bandi bashed KCR for supporting a religion-based party like MIM. He went on to say that KCR might even end up giving 20% reservation to Muslims if needed, comparing his policies with that of Congress. Bandi also stated that all the other parties except BJP might end up forming a coalition in Telangana, just to defeat BJP, but none of that is possible because BJP will definitely come to power this time.
