Prince Charles, heir to the British throne turning positive for Coronavirus came as a shock to London citizen as the Royal family is least expected to get infected. However, the Prince recovered from the viral infection within a month of time which grabbed the media attention. Reacting over the same, Union Minister of State for AYUSH Shripad Naik on Thursday made a startling claim stating that a Bengaluru-based Ayurveda expert has helped Prince Charles cure with the help of an Ayurvedic formulation.
In a press conference held at his private residence near Panaji, the minister supported his argument claiming that he got a call from a doctor who runs an Ayurveda resort in Bengaluru. While the media tried to contact the mentioned Ayurveda expert, he refused to speak saying that he couldn’t according to the protocol of the royal family’s protocol. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the British royal in London on Friday denied the claim.
“This information is incorrect. The Prince of Wales followed the medical advice of the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK and nothing more,” read an email sent by Ella Lynch, a spokesperson for the Prince of Wales. Prince Charles, 71, spent seven days self-isolating in Scotland after testing positive and displaying mild symptoms.
