Hours after the Chief Minister Jagan and his ministers made a roll of allegations over the onion prices in Heritage owned by the opposition party chief Chandrababu, his wife and the Vice Chairman/Managing Director of Heritage Foods, Nara Bhuvaneswari hit back the remarks. Claiming that Heritage is no longer overseeing the logistics, Bhuvaneswari stated that Heritage was taken over by Future Group. “We have nothing to do with the onion prices at Heritage supermarkets as Future Group looks over the logistics. Me as a housewife condemn the hiking prices,” she added.
Nara Bhuvaneswari also stated that she has never seen such high prices for onion and urged the state and central governments to intervene as soon as possible. In the first day session of the state assembly, onion prices were brought to the discussion which shook the session with mutual criticism. However, seems like Bhuvaneswari coming to the rescue of her husband being in a responsible position has won the hearts of netizens.
