KTR visits Preethi’s family…
The Telangana Minister, KTR has visited KMC Medical student Preethi’s family members on Wednesday and assured all possible help and support to the family. KTR was on a visit to Thorrur in Mahabubabad District to participate in Womens day celebrations. During this visit he met the family members of Preethi. He has instructed the Warangal Commissioner of Police Ranganadh not to spare anybody in Preethi’s case irrespective of their background and the culprits should be brought to justice. KTR has commented that the Government has taken this issue very seriously and assured the family members of Preethi to keep up the confidence and to take care.
Speaking to media persons, KTR has responded on Preethi’s issue. KTR felt that dragging politics in to Preethi’s issue is not in the right spirit, while adding that if found guilty whether it is Saif or Sanjay, nobody would be spared.
As may be recalled, Preethi fought for her life at Hyderabad’s NIMS Hospital and died recently. In spite of the collective efforts of team of doctors, the life of Preethi could not be saved. As per reports, unable to bear the harassment and torture of her senior M A Saif, Preethi has taken an injection with sedatives on the morning of 22nd February 2023.
The Telangana State Government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs.10 lakhs to Preethi’s family. On behalf of Palakurthi Constituency BRS party, Minister Yerrabelli Dayakar Rao has assured Preethi’s family that an amount of Rs. 20 lakhs would be given to Preethi’s family as a measure of financial support.
