The Prime Minister of the country itself turning positive to the dreadful novel virus hitting the morale of Britain which joined the list most Corona affected nations, of late. In the wake of the United Kingdom registering a massive hike in the death toll from 759 to 181 in one day, the government levelled up in containing the novel virus in the country. As a part of which, the government has imposed stricter Corona rules under the already imposed lockdown.
However, the country reported almost 15,000 positive cases from the past 24 hours followed by which the health officials are speculating thousands more cases and deaths in the coming days. Meanwhile, storage of the dead bodies has become a new challenge for the government with the existing morgues and cemeteries were filled up. To meet the crunch, the Britain authorities have decided to turn on elf the most-connected airport into a morgue.
West Midlands authorities on Saturday confirmed that the Birmingham airport will be transformed into a temporary mortuary which can accommodate almost 12,000 bodies. This would include those unrelated to coronavirus. This step taken up the government has raised religious concerns while many have come to the support of the government during the crisis. On the same hand, Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre and Manchester’s Central Convention Centre are set to be converted into temporary hospitals.
