JanaSena Chief Pawan Kalyan’s shocking decision to make a comeback into films, days after he joined hands with BJP set ripples in film and political fraternities. While many of the fans and ardent followers backed the actor-turned-politician’s decision, analysts speculated it to be out of BJP’s influence.
In less than one week after announcing his decision, Pawan started throwing feasts to his fans dropping a the news of roll of projects while highly placed sources claimed that BJP has its hand behind Pawan’s jet speed.
While many have started the guessing game of what would be the reason behind a ruling political party encouraging its leader to re-entry film industry besides the state being at doldrums, here is a theory supporting the above speculations.
BJP is well known for its connections with actors in the film industry and there were times when certain actors’ campaigning came to the party’s rescue. Sources speculated if BJP’s motive behind supporting Pawan star’s comeback was with the same motive-to turn into a star campaigner.
It can be noted that Pawan will portray the character of a fighter set around the contemporary Aurangzeb period(the genre which would never go out of the league).
On the other hand, Prabhas who is now a PAN India star was also rumoured to be under the influence of ruling BJP. As the actor on Monday announced his next ‘Adipurush’ which is tipped to be an adaption of Ramayana. This would obviously catalyse the Ram Mandhir fever all around the country, opined a film critic.
Though the project is touted to be a commercial offering, strong rumours speculated BJP’s motives behind the story selection. Krishnam Raju, Prabhas’ godfather playing a crucial role in state BJP unit, further fuelled the speculations. If everything goes well, this project will turn into a plus for BJP in disguise.
However, people from the film industry snubbed the theories claiming that the subjects completely depends on director and heroes’ choice.
