TPCC chief Revanth Reddy’s padayatra is continuing in the Bhupalapalli constituency. He had a meeting with the coal workers on the 16th day as part of the trip. Speaking on the occasion, Revanth lashed out at the central and state governments. He criticized KCR and Modi’s policy as corporate-friendly. BJP and BRS leaders have been together like inseparable twins for these nine years and now they are trying to show that there is a war.
Isn’t it a fact that KCR has contributed to all of Modi’s decisions? Revanth asked. Mandi said that they are trying to show that they are separate out of fear of public opposition. He asked to whom KCR handed over the Tadicharla mine. What is the share of KCR’s family in the mine there? They explained that if the coal mine in Odisha was sold to Adani, they fought against it and that is why the sale was stopped. Isn’t it true that KCR helped in that deal to benefit Pratima Srinivas? He asked.
Revanth Reddy asked the workers to think what is the use of KCR behind CMD Sridhar as CMD. It is alleged that Sridhar is trying to bankrupt Singareni which is in profit. He made it clear that an inquiry will be ordered on all these when the Congress government comes to power. MLC Kavitha of the Coal Mine Workers Union and Minister Harish Rao of the RTC Workers Union are the Honorary Presidents. He criticized that the KCR family has monopolized the labor unions and continues to be in power.
Revanth alleged that even though the CM’s daughter was the honorary president, they failed to solve the problems of the coal miners. He said that KCR’s family is not trying to solve the problems of workers except to loot thousands of crores. “KCR will not change, and the time to change him has come,” he said. He said that KCR, who claims to bring Telangana, was given two chances and asked to give one chance to Congress, which was given by the state. He said there is a historical need for Congress to come to power in the state. Revanth Reddy said that not only the achievement of Telangana but also the responsibility of protecting it lies with the workers.
