BJP leaders are cracking down in their own style on the idea that Chief Minister KCR is moving towards a national party. BJP state president Bandi Sanjay criticized KCR for cheating the state and aspiring to do the same with the country. He said it was important to realize that family rule parties have no place in the country. While appreciating Narendra Modi’s reputation spreading all over the world, he criticized KCR for doing time-pass politics. He was outraged that the state was being divided in the name of castes and religions and was spending their time blaming others. Bandi Sanjay questioned what can KCR can do for the country when he is unable to do anything for Telangana state.
Union Minister Kishan Reddy has criticized the CM KCR for poisoning and misleading people. He went on to comment that anybody in the country is eligible to start a political party, but they have to respect the regulations and act democratically. He also took a jibe saying that there are more politicians in KCR’s family and that is why they are planning on setting up a party on the National level. He was outraged at KCR stating that he was looking to exploit the country as if exploiting the state was not enough. He was incensed that the TRS had received the new mantra of a national party just to divert people’s attention from government failures.
Rajya Sabha member Laxman said, “despite all the conspiracies that the people of Telangana have already given VRS to TRS, Narendra Modi will be the Prime Minister of the country once again.” He alleged that the institutions and corporations in Telangana were shut down due to a lack of funds. “OBCs, who make up 54 percent of the state, has been given only three ministerial posts, is this the social justice of KCR?” Laxman asked. He promised to set up special federations and allocate funds once the BJP came to power in the state.
KCR on the other hand is going strategically in the case of BRS (Bharatiya Rastra Samithi- the assumed name of KCR’s National Party). They are looking to cash in on the presidential election and turn the wheel in national politics. Questions like who will accompany him if he full-fledged starts with the national party are now a hot topic in the political circles.
