BJP which is on serious quest to have a firm foothold in the Telugu states has hastened up the lure track on the senior leaders. With the Huzurnagar by-polls shattering their dreams, the party has lost the last ray of hope to strengthen its base in Telangana. And in Andhra Pradesh, seems like the main opposition, TDP in falling prey to the political vendetta. Is the Saffron party zeroing in the senior leaders in TDP?
With all the established leaders hopping into YSRCP, many of the political analysts speculated that the ruling party would purge TDP. They also contemplated if Jagan is taking revenge on Chandrababu who tried to rope in YSRCP leaders back when he was the CM. But as per the latest revelations, BJP came into the scene standing as a threat to TDP. A few of the political analysts observed that the state BJP leaders turned successful with a perfect balance of criticising the ruling party and lobbying with the Opposition leaders. While the inside talk revealed that BJP and YSRCP joined hands to hit the morale of TDP, slowly the senior leaders who once stayed loyal to Chandrababu are now walking out of the party.
The recent meeting between Sujana Chowdary and Gannavaram MLA Vallabaneni Vamsi added fuel to the speculations. And former MLA and Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samithi founder Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy has already announced that he would join BJP anytime soon. These migrations will no doubt come as a major setback to the Yellow cadre which s already been targeted.
