Several petitions have already been filed in the High Court regarding the purchase of TRS MLAs. The BJP and the police approached the court regarding the investigation. After that, the SIT was formed and the High Court issued important orders. As the investigation continues, some key developments are taking place in the case. The SIT officials are sending notices to those who say they have close contact with the three accused.
Notices have already been sent to Jagguswamy and Tushar from Kerala, while notices have been sent to Srinivas, a lawyer in Telangana, and BL Santosh, a key BJP leader in Delhi. But the BJP filed an interim petition in the High Court against the SIT notices. Party General Secretary Premender Reddy filed this petition. BL Santosh and lawyer Srinivas have been given notices in the petition.
In the name of investigation, the SIT has issued notices to imprison those who are not related to the case and requested a stay on these. The court investigated this. BJP’s plea to quash SIT notices has been rejected. If not, the High Court ordered Santosh not to be arrested until further orders.
On the other hand, a sit lunch motion petition has been filed regarding the same case. It said that the police in Delhi does not allow serving notices directly to a person. Delhi Police is not cooperating with the investigation, they said. The SIT asked the high court to direct the CP not to interfere with the investigation of the case. After hearing the arguments, the bench adjourned the further hearing to Tuesday.
