Old City roads on Saturday turned saffron with BJP state president Bandi Sanjay kickstarting his padayatra. With a prime motto to bring down the TRS ruling, Bandi Sanjay started his yatra after offering payers at goddess Bhagya Lakshmi temple.
The yatra was attended by crucial BJP leaders, including Union Minister Kishan Reddy, party state affairs in-charge Tarun Chung, and OBC Morcha national president Lakshman. Lashing out on the state government for not fulfilling the poll promises, Bandi urged the public to teach the ruling party a lesson and Gove a tribute to bereaved families who lost their beloved in the Telangana movement.
“Be it unemployment allowance, handling pandemic, farmer problems, or student suicides, KCR-led TRS government has miserably failed. For those who all stated BJP as a religious party, is it wrong to fight for Hindus who contribute to almost 80 percent of the population?” Said Bandi.
The BJP state president lambasted the MIM party for supporting TRS. He then stated that MIM party share the ideology of the Taliban. The saffron party plans the padayatra in four phases till the next Assembly elections in 2023. On the first day, the padayatra will continue through Afzal Ganj, Nampally Exhibition Ground, Lakhdikapool to Mehidipatnam.
After a night stay at Pullareddy College of Pharmacy, Bandi will continue his yatra for 35 days with 10 to 15 km per day. Reports have it that the party would change the role map of the Huzurabad by-election schedule is released meanwhile.
