Are the terms between Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundarajan and the Chief Minister taking new turns? Yes, hints the recent revelations in the state politics.
On the occasion of complete 100 days of her service as Governor, Tamilisai happed to give an exclusive interview to one of the newspapers which spilled the beans shocking everyone. Like never before Tamilisai was seen lauding KCR over the execution of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. This has left the state cadre in splits as the senior BJP leader was said to be in loggerheads with the Chief Minister. She was said to remain a tough nut to crack during the TSRTC strike also. However, Tamilisai was seen backing up Telangana government over the allegations of corruption in the execution of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project.
Drenching the KCR-led government over taking up such a massive project, the Governor claimed that it was really an engineering marvel. “The state government has created such a grand project. I really appreciate the State government for building Kaleshwaram project. I feel it should prove beneficial to people for whom it has been created,” she added. Thamilisai also said that she has to face the authority constraints backing her decision to refer the probe into allegations of corruption to ACB rather CBI.
It is to the known knowledge that transferring the former Governor Narasimhan and bringing Tamilisai Soundarajan into the scene to limit KCR’s power in the state. This has become the most discussed topic three months back as Tamilisai made statements against the state governance. She stated that she would immediately arrange Praja Darbars to reach to the public regarding the hitches in governance and was seen making appointments with BJP leaders in the state. However, looks like things between the Governor and CM changed post the RTC strike. This was even confirmed by the Raj Bhavan sources that Governor turned soft-hearted towards the state government.
