In a relief to Former Minister and renowned TDP leader Bhuma Akhila Priya, the prime accused in the Bowenpally kidnap case was granted bail on Friday.
Hearing the arguments over the plea filed by Akhila Priya and her husband Bhargav Ram who is also one of the accused(A-3), the Secunderabad sessions court granted bail for the former.
Though the bail was granted, Akhilapriya is likely to be released on Saturday morning as the sanction of bail papers are delayed. The ‘bail’ wait, however, continues for Akhila’s husband Bhargav Ram.
To recall, Akhila Priya was arrested by the police at her house at Lodha Apartments in Kukatpally after a complaint was registered for allegedly kidnaping former hockey player Praveen Rao.
