While the third wave is lurking with increasing Corona cases, the Telangana state government on Monday took a shocking decision. The KCR-led Telangana government has decided to reopen schools and colleges in the state for physical classes from September 1st.
Considering the request from educational institutes to resume physical cases, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday instructed the concerned Ministers and the officials of Panchayat Raj and Municipal Administration departments to complete the cleaning and sanitization of all educational institutions and hostels across the State by month-end.
A high-level meeting was held at Pragathi Bhavan, the state government resolved to resume physical classes for everyone from LKG to PG. It can be noted that all the educational institutions have remained closed for more than one-and-half years since March, 2020.
