Good News for the Telangana students is that this year the TS EAMCET examination question papers would be available in Telugu language. In an important amendment to the policy, JNTU has decided to offer the TS EAMCET exam in English-Telugu and English-Urdu versions only. The TS EAMCET examination is scheduled to be held from 7th May 2023 to 11th May 2023.
JNTU has taken a conscious decision to go away with the exclusive English version of the question paper for the benefit of the students. With this amendment, the authorities are of the opinion that no student would be deprived of the advantage of attempting the examination. The students are expected to answer the questions in different sessions and with the enhanced difficulty level in each session.
During the computation, the marks scored by applicants would be checked out for each and every session. Based on the difficulty level of the question paper also, the applicants’ scores may be low. In the recent past, while majority of the applicants from urban areas have opted for the English question paper, the applicants from rural areas preferred either English-Telugu or English-Urdu versions. Based on these observations, the JNTU, which is conducting the TS EAMCET 2023 on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, has taken the decision to dispense with the English version of the question paper ONLY.
