VST Indira Park Steel Bridge…all set to become the crowning glory of central Hyderabad: KTR
VST Indira Park Steel Bridge is all set to become the crowning glory of central Hyderabad, says KTR, Minister for IT & Municipal Administration & Urban Development. On Saturday, he was on a surprise visit to assess the progress of the VST Indira Park Steel Bridge and other related developmental works. He had interactions with the GHMC engineering officials at the site and gave certain suggestions and instructions for the speedy completion of the works.
KTR was very keen to ensure the works to be completed within three months and asked the officials to take the services of additional teams for the smooth & speedy completion of the steel bridge related works. KTR also instructed the site officials to take appropriate safety measures at the site so as to make sure that neither the construction workers, officials nor the general public faces any type accidents or mishaps.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister has stressed the need for the timely completion of the four lanes 2.8 kilometer long steel bridge being built by the GHMC at a cost of 440 crores. KTR was also talking about the need for the perfect coordination between GHMC and city traffic police for any changes in the traffic diversion related issues during this final phase of the completion of this prestigious project.
KTR is confident that the completion of the VST Indira Park Steel Bridge not only regulates the traffic conjunction at the RTC Cross Roads but also answers the two decade long pending demand of the people of Musheerabad, Khairatabad and Amberpet constituencies. The decision to opt for the steel bridge was part of the strategy of constructing the bridge at a faster pace hence dispensed with the regular concrete model. He was hopeful and confident that the construction of the steel bridge would be completed in the coming three months period.
