The Adani-Hindenberg affair, which is shaking the country’s economy, is raging in both houses of Parliament. The opposition wants an immediate discussion on this issue, which has the potential to have a severe impact on the income of many financial institutions and crores of Indians in India. In this context, BRS MP K. Kesha Rao in the Rajya Sabha and Nama Nageswara Rao in the Lok Sabha took notice of the adjournment motion and demanded that both the Houses immediately discuss the matter under Rule 267.
It seems that this is a threat to the economy of the country. He said that there is no other issue that needs to be discussed in the House and that there is a need for the members to discuss the affairs of the Adani Group along with the Hindenburg report.
On behalf of AAP, that party’s MP Sanjay Singh, as well as CPI, CPM, and other opposition leaders gave notices of the adjournment resolution. Both the houses of the Parliament were adjourned till 2 pm shortly after the protest started.
Before that, all the opposition leaders met in Congress chief Mallikharjun Kharge’s chamber and decided to stall the parliament on this issue. BRS leader KK later clarified that they are all of one voice in this matter.
