AICC in-charge Manik Rao Thackeray reached Hyderabad today to give a new direction to the Telangana PCC, which is plagued by internal strife. Telangana PCC president Revanth Reddy and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka invited Telangana’s new in-charge Manik Rao Thackeray to the launch at the airport.
Later, on the occasion of Lal Bahadur Shastri’s death anniversary at Gandhi Bhavan, they garlanded his image and paid tribute. Thackeray will visit Telangana for two days. A series of meetings will be held from 10.30 am today at Gandhi Bhavan. The first meeting with the in-charge AICC secretaries will be followed by a personal meeting with the PCC president, CLP leader, and PAC members. There will be a meeting of PAC members at 7 pm. Tomorrow a meeting will be held with the DCCs, office bearers, chairmen of affiliated societies, and representatives of authorities.
How he will resolve the tug-of-war between the senior and junior leaders in the party is of utmost importance. And let’s see how the seniors who are appalled by the resignation letters will be appeased. The party leadership sent Manikkam Thakur with the belief that he would be able to resolve the issue head-on. Meanwhile, Manik Rao Thackeray called MP Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy. Thackeray invited him to Gandhi Bhavan. But when Komati Reddy said that they will meet outside, it is leading to a discussion in the Congress circles.
But there is suspense over whether Thackeray will meet Komati Reddy or not. It has become questionable what they will talk about if they meet. Telangana Congress leaders are discussing whether to criticize Revanth. If this is the case, AICC Secretary Bose Raju said that there is no problem with Tagore. He said there is a communication gap.
The new in charge assured that everything will be planned. He expressed confidence that Congress is coming to power in 2023. He said that Congress is going to win 77 seats. He said that the new in charge will work to include everyone.
