Corona continues to wreck Indians. More than three lakh cases have been registered in the last few days. Cases seem to have been declining since day two. More than four thousand cases were registered yesterday than the previous day. Newly 3,06,064 people were infected with the virus. The number of active corona cases in the country has reached 22,49,335.
Newly 2,43,495 people have recovered from the corona. The number of those who have recovered has reached 3,68,04,145. The recovery rate in the country was 93.07% while the weekly positivity rate was 17.03%. A new pandemic has killed at least 439 people. In addition to the corona, omicron cases are also being reported heavily in the country.
Central and state governments are enforcing strict restrictions on corona buildings in the country. Night curfew is in effect in many states. Some other states are imposing weekend lock-downs.
