Hyderabad BJP MLA Raja Singh has invited legal troubles with his controversial comments. In a video post shared on social media, Raja Singh claimed the ‘Iftar’ parties hosted by the political parties are nothing but a way to beg the votes.
He said that neither he hosts such parties nor attend them. Raja Singh also took a jibe at TRS saying the party is busy with Iftar parties to gain the Muslim votes.
Raja Singh, who represents the Goshamahal constituency, also said that the ‘green book’ is responsible for the spread of terrorism in the country, and called for a ban on the same.
A case has been filed at the Falaknuma Police Station under Section 153-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for his comments and an investigation in the matter is underway.
