Minister Harish Rao countered Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s comments on CM KCR. Speaking to the media on Friday, he said that there was no sincerity in Union Minister Nirmala’s words. He said that Chief Minister KCR has spoken about the reality of the country in the Legislative Assembly with full evidence. He said that the central ministers are not sleeping when they say that the facts are being broken. He criticized that what the Center has given to Telangana is literally nothing.
Union ministers are talking about medical colleges in different ways. They objected that they themselves lacked clarity. He said that the state government has asked for medical colleges in Karimnagar and Khammam. Why is it one policy for other states, and another for Telangana? he questioned. He then questioned Telangana being treated unfairly in the medical college allocation. He also lashed out saying that they are causing trouble by not giving the funds due to Telangana.
He said that the center is doing injustice to Telangana by trampling on the decisions of the Finance Commission. In the matter of GST funds, he asked why funds are given to Andhra Pradesh and not to Telangana. He criticized, “As we reduce Debt to GDP, you are increasing it.” He alleged that the reason for this increase in debt in the state is the Centre.
Harish Rao made it clear that Chief Minister KCR has said or did no mistake in anything. “When asked to give a government medical college, they ignored us. That is why we said that we will build a government medical college in Warangal with Telangana funds,” saying so, Minister Harish Rao added that the people of Karimnagar and Warangal will decide why they should vote for you.
