Srikakulam: The Director-General of Police for Andhra Pradesh, Gautam Sawang’s comments of TDP and its supremo Chandrababu Naidu have apparently triggered a silent war. The DGP who talked to the media lately has stated that the yellow party is trying to unnecessarily degrade the department on a deliberate note. ‘It is unfortunate that I’m not in my cabin when the Opposition leaders came to the office as an important meeting needed my attention. I am a public servant serving democracy and I’m not connected with any of the parties politically,” said the DGP. In response to these comments made by DGP, Chandrababu Naidu came down heavily on Gautam Sawang for stating their efforts as a political stunt. Speaking at a meeting with party workers as part of a tour of the Srikakulam district, Chandrababu breathed fire on Jagan-led government for implicating false cases on TDP leaders and activists.
