Tensions ran high at Banjara Hills Rainbow Hospitals with the death of a kid who was admitted with a heart ailment. According to the boy’s family who is protesting at the hospital, Devender from Badvelu in Kadapa district, died while receiving treatment.
Venugopal, the child’s father, alleged that their son had died due to the negligence of the doctors and hospital authorities. Reportedly, Devender, who is suffering from a heart ailment was admitted to Rainbow Hospital by his parents last Saturday. Doctors who conducted several tests prescribed surgery. While the family agreed to it, authorities dropped the shocking news that the boy is no more.
Devender’s parents alleged that the doctors did not update them about Babu’s health condition after the operation. He is said to have died after the hospital charged over Rs 7 lakh in total.
