With the two hours of tense negotiations between national security advisor A K Doval and China’s state councillor and foreign minister Wang Yi ending up on a positive note, both the Indian and Chinese armies were seen one-km withdrawal by China at Ladakh’s Galwan Valley and other key border areas.
Reportedly, the disengagement process had started hours after the talks ended and if the information from the trusted sources is to be believed, Chinese are now firmly on their end of the Line of Actual Control – the de-facto border between India and China.
Meanwhile, several images of the Galwan Valley showing the structures have been dismantled and the area is clean. The spot is near Patrol Point 14, where Indian and Chinse troops had fought a pitched battle on June 15 was also seen clear.
