Amid the Omicron scare across the country, the list of the actor turning positive to the COVID has been increasing with each passing day. While actress Kareena Kapoor and a couple of friends from the film fraternity recently tested positive, actor Chiyaan Vikram’s team confirmed that the actor contracted the virus.
As per the health update from Vikram’s publicist, the actor has mild symptoms and has isolated himself at his home in Chennai. However, the health update of his son Dhruv and other family members is not clear.
Vikram has completed shooting for Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Mahaan’ which are expected to hit the screens one after the other in the first quarter of 2022. His other film ‘Cobra’ directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu has a few days of shooting left after which Vikram will begin work on his next directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavelraja.
