Shocking the ruling party cadre, renowned comedian and YSRCP leader Ali made a flash appearance at New Delhi BJP party office on Friday. In the wake of ripples in the state politics, the actor-turned-comedian who is known to have goodwill as a politician’s at the BJP’s office sparked speculation. While the actor is said to be deliberately maintaining distance from the party activities, rumours that the star comedian would change his loyalty anytime soon are doing some serious rounds in the political circles.
However, the media which tried to clarify his visit got disappointment of sorts as Ali snubbed all the political significance. Claiming it to be a personal visit, Ali stated that he came to sought Modi’s appointment over a Bollywood actor’s visit to India. “The actor wants to meet the Prime Minister during his visit to India upon which I came here to meet minister Prakash Javadekar,” he added. Ali also stated that the minister responded on a positive note.
Calling it quits with his friend’s JanaSena party, Ali joined YSRCP before the 2019 elections in the presence of Jagan. He also took an active part in the election campaign. However, the actor who anticipated a ticket to contest or a nominated post was said to be disappointed and is staying away from the party works. On this note, the actor’s presence at the BJP office sparked rumours though he gave a clarification. In the wake of BJP-JanaSena alliance which stood as the page-turner in the state politics, Ali who is known to be a loyalist of Pawan Kalyan visiting BJP office hinted the party cadre of starting a new chapter. Though the Pawan-Ali duo parted their ways with a few differences, speculations are rife that the old friends are now paving ways for the patch up.
