Dissent in the ruling TRS is raging. The situation is the same now in almost all the constituencies in the state. Leaders of his own party have recently lashed out at Alampur MLA Abraham. Local leaders, including ZPTCs and MPs, are angry with him. They are all deeply concerned that they are being insulted by one man out of arrogance of being an MLA. District ministers Niranjan Reddy and Srinivas Gowda along with the TRS district president lodged a complaint. A complaint-like petition has been filed in this regard.
Local leaders complained to the ministers that they withstood whatever the MLA did, assuming it is for the betterment of the party and now they have lost their patience. The cheques of Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadimubarak, and CMRF were being distributed at his camp office despite KTR’s orders to distribute them at zonal centers. Together they complained that they were being disrespected by the leader, and the events were conducted by him alone instead of anyone else getting involved.
They were angry that the protocol was not being followed even when the MLA comes to their zones. They said that the MLA is defaming the party by taking commissions in every little work and that the party’s reputation is getting damaged in a broad sense. The leaders also complied with the ministers that the involvement of MLA’s son Ajay in every matter was increasing. They also mentioned that the constituency development funds are being allocated to TRS opponents. However, If at all they try meeting up with minister KTR, they were being sidelined and told reasons like KTR is busy with plenary proceedings.
It is learned that Abraham is trying to get a seat for his son Ajay to contest the upcoming elections. ZP chairperson Sarita Tirupathaya is said to be hoping to field people from her community. In this context, many suspicions are being raised about the growing opposition to Abraham from his own party leaders.
Among those who met the ministers were District Library Chairman Patel Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Undavelli, Alampur, Itikala, Aiza ZPTC members Ramulamma, Shamshad Begum, Hanuman Reddy, Pushpamma, Rajoli, Aiza, Itikala MPs Mariamma, Nageshwar Reddy, Sneha, IT, Ranga Sridhar Reddy, Madhusudan Reddy, Aiza Municipal Chairperson Devanna, Alampur Agricultural Market Committee Chairman Ramadevareddy and others.
