The war for the MLA ticket is exposing factionalism in the parties as the time for the polling approaches. Until now, the internal conflict that has been raging is going on a bit. Even though the authorities are tight-lipped about the seat allotment, aspirants are getting excited and self-declaring when they get a chance.
Recently this happened in the joint Warangal District Congress. DCC president Naini Rajender Reddy’s key comments in the Hanumakonda Congress corner meeting have now become a big headache for TPCC. He announced that he will contest from the Warangal West constituency in the next election.
They warned that if anyone comes from the neighboring district or from the other party and tries to do anything against them, they should not tolerate it any longer. His declaration that he will contest against TPCC president Revanth Reddy has become a topic of discussion in the joint Warangal district. However, senior Congress leader VH supported Naini Rajender Reddy’s comments.
Rajender Reddy defended Naini that he spoke correctly now. However, for the last few years, Warangal West Constituency has been fighting in Congress. DCC President Naini Rajender Reddy and Janagama DCC President Janga Raghava Reddy are contesting for the Congress ticket in this constituency.
They are telling their followers that the ticket belongs to them. In this background, there is a rift between the two. Recently, during Hath Se Hath Jodo Yatra, their followers came out to fight. On the occasion of the arrival of TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy, a massive flexi was arranged in the western constituency.
Naini Rajender Reddy’s followers and Janga Raghavar Reddy’s followers set up flexis on a competitive tone. While this controversy is going on, Naini Rajender Reddy’s announcement on the Warangal West Constituency ticket in the presence of Revanth Reddy has stirred up more controversy. And it has become interesting how TPCC will respond to this.
