Congress party has filed a complaint against Telangana Minister Mallareddy to the Election Commission. He has been accused of violating the Election Code to this extent. The Congress Party has complained to the EC regarding Minister Mallareddy’s speech in praise of Chief Minister KCR while the code is in force in 9 districts regarding MLC elections. Action has been taken against him for violating the election code.
On the occasion of the Brahmotsavam of Keesara Ramalingeswara Swamy on Thursday, the temple authorities organized sports competitions. This program was initiated by RDO. Minister Mallareddy, who was there for a while, got on the stage and gave a speech praising KCR.
The RDO said that the election rules were in force and continued the speech regardless. He said that what is going on in Keesara is fair and the Election Code does not apply to it.
In this order, Congress expressed its anger at the behavior of Mallareddy and filed a complaint against him to the EC. Violation of the code in every election has become a routine for Minister Mallareddy and therefore the Congress party requested the Election Commission to take strict action against him.
