CLP leader Bhatti Vikram said law and order were out of control in the state. The same thing was said to have been brought to the attention of the Governor. A group of Congress leaders met Tamilisai in Raj Bhavan. On this occasion, the leaders briefed her on the situation prevailing in the state.
Bhatti spoke to the media after the meeting with the governor. They accused TRS leaders of not letting the police do their job. Vanama Raghava Dashtikam, Ramakrishna family suicide, Advocate murder in Manthani, Seelam Rangayya incidents were explained to the Governor.
Bhatti said law and order in the state were completely disrupted and asked the governor to review the police department. He said the police department was not functioning properly in the TRS government.
In addition to these, Bhatti also alleged that people had lost a sense of security from the police. Added that one can expect justice from the police only with the support of TRS leaders. He reminded the police to do their duty according to the constitution and not to succumb to pressure. MLAs Sitakkai, Sridhar Babu, and Jaggareddy were also among those who called on the governor.
