Amidst dramatic turn of events, Congress working president and MP RevanthReddy has been granted conditional bail by the Telangana High Court. The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday granted bail to Revanth who has been facing allegation over flying drone on minister KTR’s farmhouse. The Congress leader who was shifted to Cherlapally Central Jail on March 5 upon his arrival from Delhi, will be released in the line of High Court orders.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy’s fans and followers started to reach Cherlapally to welcome the Congress leader. Tensions ran high with the people who tried to barge into the premises while the Telangana police imposed restrictions from afternoon hours. With the rumours floating that Revanth would go on a rally towards Gandhi Bhavan, the police were learnt to deny permission for certain Congress senior leaders and SC lawyer Salman Khurshid.
