With the recent visit of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the Telangana Congress got new-found energy. The TPCC supremacy focused on further strengthening the cadre and adding strong leaders. A few days ago, Chennur former MLA Nallala Odelu, and his wife ZDP chairperson Lakshmi along with their son joined the Congress in the presence of the prominent leader Priyanka Gandhi. It is in this context that the Congress party seems to have launched Operation Aakash in the state.
There is information that Congress has been paying special attention to the most dissatisfied leaders in the leading TRS party. It was also heard that the TPCC supremacy had decided to seek the permission of local leaders in order to include strong leaders from the BJP party and include them in theirs. Revanth Reddy has been acting aggressively since his appointment as TPCC chief. It is clear that his only goal is to bring the Congress party to power in Telangana.
It is learned that some other dissidents in the ruling party want to move to the Congress party after the Nallala Odelu did so. The list of leaders joining the Congress party is still bigger. It includes former MLAs of the ruling party, ZDP chairmen as well as BJP leaders.
Rahul advised the TPCC leadership to work with the cooperation of seniors to make Congress the strongest party in the state. It was against this backdrop that the leaders decided to put aside differences and move forward in unity. The roadmap on party strengthening also seems to have been handed over to the TPCC supremacist leaders. With the coordination of leaders and activists, the leaders are planning to move forward with the goal of coming to power in Telangana this time. Analysts say that a large part of that seems to be having a greater focus on inclusions.
