It seems like there is no end to the atrocities in the state. Ever since the Amnesia Pub incident, every day something ghostly is continuing to light up. Two incidents have come out recently. In the Narayanpet district, a girl was r*ped by two youths while no one was at home. The matter came to light when she became pregnant.
In Secunderabad, a girl complained to the police that she was r*ped by a young man who was renting her house. A young man named Ellesh near the victim’s family trapped a tenth-grade girl in the Monda market area. The two went missing on the 1st of this month. The parents complained to the police. But suddenly the girl went to the police station and complained that Ellesh had r*ped her. Police, who have registered a case under the Pokso Act, are scouring for the culprit.
On the other hand, the leaders of the Mahila Congress undertook a silent protest at the Gandhi Bhavan. National Women’s Congress President D’Souza, former Union Minister Renuka Chaudhary, State Women’s Congress President Sunita Rao, and other women leaders were present.
Women leaders have initiated the silent protests saying that there is nothing but attacks and murd*rs taking place in the state during the KCR regime. Protesters tied black ribbons to their mouths. Former minister Konda Surekha also took part in the event.
