While India levelled up in tackling the dreadful Coronavirus, the novel virus has been taking a toll at the neighbouring Pakistan which shockingly recorded highest cases from the past 24 hours. According to the reports from the Health Ministry of southern Sindh province, 50 new cases of the novel coronavirus were confirmed in the last two days, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 94.
The health officials stated that majority of the patients who recently turned positive returned from Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. Followed by which the Pakistani government on Monday closed all the borders and highways leading to capital city Islamabad an attempt to curb the spread of the virus. All education institutions, malls and tourist places across the country have already been closed for three weeks.
Meanwhile, recent analytics revealed that Pakistan stood the fourth country in sudden surge Corona cases following the U.S, Australia and South Korea. This has raised alarm in Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Rajasthan which shares a border with the neighbouring country.
