Seems like 2020 started with a rough patch for Chief Minister Jagan with all his plans ending up in fix. Three capital decision has been one of such issues which grabbed the attention of national media as well. Adding to this, various petitions filed in the High Court have been giving quite tough times for the new government.
In a recent revelation, renowned news agency the Press Trust of India Ltd reported that Andhra Pradesh state government is all set to start the governance from Visakhapatnam. According to the article publishes, Jagan and his team will start running the governance from Waltair City from May 22nd.
It was learnt the employees of secretaries and HOD officers are instructed to raise to the urgency. There have been strong rumours that employees urged the department HODs to shift the capital post-May as most of the education institutes’ academic year starts from April.
While the management is all busy making the necessary arrangement for the capital shift, Coronavirus outbreak came as an unexpected jerk to the Jagan-led government. Though the government faced the flare over downplaying the severity of the novel virus, it was seen levelling up raising alarm at the district level. Seems like the government needs another 2 months to bring back normalcy in the state until which the capital issue will lie secondary.
