The deadly Coronavirus starting spread its footprints in Australia, infecting almost four people by Saturday. Authorities in Australia confirmed that four men, all of whom have recently visited Wuhan to be carrying the deadly virus in Australia. Talking to the media, New South Wales Health Minister Brad Hazzard said there are three confirmed cases of the virus in the state and another one in Melbourne. The Melbourne man tested positive early on Saturday morning while the authorities on war footing started to contact passengers who shared flights from China with the patients to run necessary examinations.
The hospital authorities stated that all the four affected were held under isolation under necessary medication in respective states while health officials speculated more people likely to be carrying the disease. On the other hand, the death toll reached to 41 people while almost 1,300 were diagnosed with the mysterious respiratory infection which has been shaking the grounds of China. Meanwhile in India, four persons, who returned from China and were kept under observation in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad following screening for the novel coronavirus infection, have tested negative, the Union Health Ministry said on Friday.
