Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee who recently tested corona positive and underwent surgery to remove a brain clot has shown a slight improvement after days of being in critical stage.
According to the recent health bulletin released by the Army Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi, the respiratory parameters of Pranab Mukherjee have shown slight improvement. However, it was stated that he continues to be on ventilatory support. “His vital and clinical parameters remain stable and are being closely monitored by a team of specialists,” read the statement.
Confirming the same Pranab’s son Abhijit Mukherjee took to his Twitter account to thanks everyone who is kept his father in prayers. “Positive signs of his improvement is noticed! I request you all to pray for His speedy recovery!” he wrote.
Tensions ran High as Pranab Mukherjee’s health suffered a slight decline after he developed a lung infection on Wednesday. The 84-year old was admitted to the facility on 10 August and operated on for a clot in the brain. He had also tested positive for COVID-19, a condition that he had made public on Twitter.
