Registering a steady rise in the cases across the country, India on Saturday logged 50,356 new infections which the caseload surged past 8.4 million-mark.
According to the recent health bulletin released by the Union Health Ministry, has so far recorded 84,62,080 confirmed COVID-19 cases including 516,632 active cases,7,819,886 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
The death toll stood at 125,562 with 577 fatalities in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, Karnataka, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh continue to be worst affected by the pandemic. Total 11,65,42,304 samples tested up to November 6. Of these, 11,13,209 samples were tested yesterday.

Andhra Pradesh reported 2,410 new COVID-19 cases, 2452 recoveries and 11 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking total cases to 8,38,363 including 21,825 active cases, 8,09,770 recoveries and 6,768 deaths confirmed the State Health Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Telangana, on the other hand, recorded 1,607 new Covid-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours while the total caseload is at 2,48,891. As of the health bulletin released by the state government on Saturday, the state logged five deaths taking taking the total death toll to 1,372.
