Days after which the Telangana government welcomed criticism over instructing the health officials not to collect samples for COVID-19 testing from bodies, High court on Thursday gave a jolt to KCR and team. Expressing discontent over the state government, the Telangana High Court instructed the health authorities to conduct Corona tests on dead bodies as well.
Challenging the government’s decision, Professor Visvesvarao filed a petition in the High Court upon which the court heard the arguments on Thursday. Rising concerns over the increasing case in the state, the petitioner stated that the state is posed to risks of entering the third stage. Instructing the government to follow the WHO guidelines, High Court ordered the health authorities to submit a consolidated report over the guidelines laid by the centre.
