While the three Keralite patients infected with COVID-19 are recovering with the test results turning negative, here comes another good news. According to the report by the National University of Singapore (NUS), it was revealed that the novel coronavirus becomes increasingly ineffective with a rise in temperature. It is indeed good news for the countries like India where the temperatures are high compared to the Chinese countries where the outbreak is on peaks.
The health experts and WHO heaved a sigh of relief as the country is likely to be relatively safer from the deadly grip of the virus. According to the reports, coronavirus survives 30 times longer in places with a temperature of 6 degree Celsius as compared to places with a temperature of 20 degree Celsius and high humidity. The coming summer is said to register at least 30 degrees while the highest will increase to around 40 degrees. With this said, Indian summer is speculated to keep the coronavirus at bay.
