Strict restrictions are being enforced across the country on the corona controlling measures. Weekend lockdowns are being imposed in many states. Some other state governments are enforcing night curfews. The distribution of vaccines in the country to curb the virus continues at a rapid pace. 59,50,731 doses were given in the past 24 hours. So far 1,63,58,44,536 vaccines have been distributed.
Due to the high prevalence of corona, the use of masks has become very important, along with social distancing. Fines are levied if masks are not worn. Authorities are denying permission for houses, meetings, and rallies. The Republic Day celebrations taking place today are also being held with fewer people.
