As per the sources, up to 90 lakh, people live in Changchun. Authorities are enforcing strict restrictions as the virus is spreading rapidly. Warnings were issued that no one should come out of the houses, allowing only one person for necessities. That too once every two days.
Changchun is an industrially developed region. All companies are advised to initiate work from home. A total of 397 people were diagnosed with the virus across China on Friday. Of these, 98 cases were reported in the vicinity of Changchun in Jilin Province.
In the heart of the city, only 2 cases came to light. This brings the total number of cases in Changchun to 78.
